Luckily, there are certain color palettes that are universally flattering. Jewel tones are rich, saturated hues that look good on every skin tone. They add a pop of color and make you stand out in a crowd. Think emerald green, sapphire blue, ruby red and amethyst purple.
After a very long, hot summer aren’t we all looking forward to some of our favorite things? Pumpkins, crunchy leaves, Halloween, cozy sweaters, and of course, fashion trends to fit the season are just a few things that come to mind. Rich hues from cobalt to
amber help shake off the summer heat. The muted colors of this past season are fading away. With names like red dahlia, Persian jewel and burnt sienna, these hues have the power to make you feel confident and sophisticated.
Even if the weather isn’t cool enough, jewel tones help visually transition from summer to fall.
Wearability And Comfy Knits
When looking at the fashion trends for autumn, this season seems to be all about the state of being comfortable. Wearability is an important consideration in the silhouettes being seen.
Once just a buzzword, wearability in fashion is now not only about comfort but styles that check multiple boxes. Naturally, the question arises as to why fashion has been indifferent to basic, human levels of physical comfort for so long.
Fashionable ideas don’t need to be compromised anymore, and that’s good for everyone. It’s definitely a global look, too. Oversized, chunky knits like sweater dresses are warm and can be layered with leggings. They harken back to the era when women made most of their own clothes by hand, but fortunately today, you don’t have to. Thank goodness!

Level up and get a pair of combat boots in white or even a shiny patent leather. They go with everything. Wear with skirts, dresses, trousers, either semi-formal or casual. For a look that’s extra, pair with a patterned or textured tight. Clean lines extend upward from the heel to the knee and beyond.
Think outside the box and go for any color except basic black. Gray and rich brown are two of the best selling colors for high-leg suede boots right now.
Pop Of Color
Make no mistake, neutrals will always be a part of a classic, timeless wardrobe. One of the current fashion trends for fall is aiming to make things a bit brighter. By far one of the best (and easiest) ways to update your outfits with colorful accents is to use accessories. They function well as bright highlights to kick it up a notch. For example mix a bold yellow with shades of gray.
Modern Tweed
Tweed is back and better than ever, although Chanel has very famously held onto the look forever. It’s safe to say that this is not your grandmother’s tweed. It’s the iconic, signature fabric of fall. This timeless fabric has been around for centuries. Seen in bold jewel tones this season, channel your French-girl for fall.
